has
been

Assistant

Attorney,

Counsel

the
Western
District
of New
York, Buffalo,

York,

since
2009
he has
been
the
Acting
First
Assistant
U.S.
Attorney.
His
fields
of
expertise
include
Computer
&
Computer
Related
Litigation,
Public
Corruption
Litigation,
Fraud
Investigations/Prosecutions
Litigation,
Environmental
Litigation,
and
General
Criminal
Litigation.
Martin
earned
his
Juris
Doctor
degree
from
SUNY
at
Buffalo
Law
School
and
Bachelor
of
Arts
degrees
in
Political
Science
and
Economics
from
the
University
of
Toronto
(St.
Michael's
College).
He is
an
instructor
at the
Federal
Law
Enforcement
Training
Center
in
Glynnco,
GA and
a
trial
technique
instructor
for
the
U.S.
Department
of
Justice
in
Criminal
and
Civil
Procedure.
He is
the
author
of
numerous
papers
and a
frequent
speaker
regarding
legal
proceedings
and
techniques
including
E-Discovery.
