The Gaithersburg Chapter of ARMA International provides monthly meetings and
other events that expand the knowledge base of all Records and Information
Management Professionals. The planned schedule of events is listed below.
Program: Our theme this year was Social Insecurity: Do You Know Where Your Records Are? To help us celebrate both our 20th
anniversary and the conclusion of another successful year, we are going to turn the tables and ask where you were in 1989 when our
chapter was founded. Were you in records management, following another career path, attending school, or (heaven forbid) not even
born yet? Be sure to come and trade experiences and learn about the chapter members and commemorate our past. If you have pictures,
contacts, or special memories of 1989 (records related or not), we will be in touch with you to collect mementos to share with the
chapter. If you are in touch with former members or colleagues, please encourage them to participate. Come and enjoy the great food
and music from the 1980’s, recognize our incoming and outgoing board, congratulate recipients of our awards, and just have some fun.
Menu: The ARMA Gaithersburg Chapter Board will provide crab dip and spinach artichoke dip appetizers. Dinner will be choice of
Donnell's Signature Crab Cake, Herb-roasted Chicken, Salmon, or Fresh Vegetable Penne. Dessert will be Key Lime pie. Coffee, tea, and
other beverages are included. Cash bar will be available.
Cost: Online payment with credit card, available until reservation closing time, $35 @
Online Reservations; payment at the
door is cash or check only: $30 for members, $35 non-members, $15 students (Student ID required).
