ARMA International Educational Foundation -The ARMA International Educational Foundation is a funding resource for individuals and organizations for the advancement of knowledge in the field of information management through research and education. The Calgary Chapter has a resource for those ARMA International members pursuing the CRM designation. A number of years ago the Calgary Chapter championed an energetic CRM committee which, under the guidance of committee chair Sue Rock, CRM, took it upon themselves to index articles from the Information Management Journal according to the examination structure of the ICRM. First Online Master's Degree in Archives and Records Administration - Apply Soon for Fall 2009. The San Jose School of Library and Information Science is now accepting applications for Fall 2009 for the nation's first fully online Master of Archives and Records Administration (MARA) degree. The first group of students in the new MARA degree program started their studies in August 2008, and the application deadline for admission in Fall 2009 is March 30. Records Management Listserv - To join the records management listserv: You should receive directions from the listserv on how to proceed. For additional information contact Debbie Armentrout, Director of Education at gburgarma@yahoo.com The ARMA International Educational Foundation (AIEF) has established a scholarship program to encourage development of the international records and information management community with an appropriately educated records and information management workforce. A scholarship of $3000 will be awarded annually, in the summer, to a full-time student entering the second year of a graduate records and information management program or equivalent library science or archival studies program which contains a significant number of records management and information courses at a recognized university or a college leading to a Masters degree or equivalent.
