This section of the Mid-Atlantic Region Web Site contains support utilities and information to assist the technical and non-technical Chapter Web Administrator in maintaining their site content.

1. FrontPage Tutorials
   
   This section contains links to other sites with good tutorials that present the procedures and basic functionality in Microsoft FrontPage that the Chapter Web Administrator needs to know to update the content in their chapter web site.
    

2. W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
   
   These guidelines have been developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) to explain how to make Web content accessible to people with disabilities. The guidelines are intended for all Web content developers (page authors and site designers) and for developers of authoring tools.  Each chapter Web Administrator that is developing content should review these guidelines and try to adhere to them.
    

3. Final Accessibility Standards (Section 508)
   
   for electronic and information technology as covered by section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act Amendments of 1998.  Section 508 requires a published set of standards which set forth a definition of electronic and information technology and the technical and functional performance criteria necessary for such technology to comply with section 508.  Each chapter Web Administrator that is developing content should review these guidelines and try to adhere to them.
    

4. Using FTP for Site Updates
   
   This section provides a set of instruction for Chapter Web Administrators who need to use FTP to update the files on their chapter web site.
