Denise L. Pickett is currently the Regional Records Manager for Deloitte serving the records needs of the entire Southeast Region. Previously, Denise was the Electronic Records Manager for Westinghouse Savannah River Company (WSRC) at Savannah River Site (SRS), Aiken, South Carolina. During her 15 years with WSRC, she has held management positions of increasing responsibility in both Document Control and Records Management. She is also involved heavily in the Six Sigma Program for SRS. Denise received her certification as a Certified Records Manager (CRM) in 1998. She also holds a BSBA degree from Bowling Green State University and a MBA degree from Nova Southeastern University. She has 22 years of line management experience, seven years of records management/ document control experience in the commercial nuclear industry, and 15 years of records management/document control experience in the Department of Energy (DOE) environment. Denise is currently serving as the Mid-Atlantic Region Manager and due to a job change has had to resign as President of the CSRA Chapter of ARMA. Past chapter positions have been Treasurer and Newsletter Chairman (awarded Newsletter of the Year in the Small Chapter Category during the 2003 Boston Awards Ceremony) and at the ARMA International level, she served a one year term on the ARMA Awards Committee and two terms as Region Coordinator of the Mid-Atlantic Region. She also is a member of the Institute of Certified Records Managers (ICRM); and serves as President of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She also serves as a grader for Part VI of the CRM exam.
