As we close out the ARMA year by holding Chapter board elections and other closing rituals, please do not forget about the June Region Leadership Conference being hosted by the Tidewater Chapter in Portsmouth, VA.

The conference kicks off on June 9 with the CRM Workshop facilitated by Tod Chernikoff, Denise Pickett, and Michelle VanAllen. The conference schedule is as follows:

Thursday, June 9, 6-9 pm – Welcome Reception
Friday, June 10, 8 am-5:15 pm – First day of Conference
Saturday, June 11, 8 am-4:30 pm – Last day of Conference

The speaker lineup includes Patrick Cunningham, CRM, FAI; Trevor Mitchell, ARMA HQ, Director, Member Services; Samantha Lofton, ARMA Board Member; Lisa Polisar, Educational Foundation Representative; Dale Mask, Alliance Training and Consulting.

I look forward to spending time with the chapters, the region team and the guests as this is my last conference as the Region Manager. I wish you all luck with the chapter elections and with personal events such as graduations, summer vacations, etc.

Thanks to all of you for volunteering for ARMA and I encourage you to continue to volunteer in the years to come. When I reflect on my ARMA years, I know that I will never replace the friends and the experiences that result from the many years of volunteering. ARMA builds leadership skills and relationships that are unique and lasting. In closing, I ask that each of you keep your focus on the end game and have fun along the way!
