In November 2007,
an hour of air time opened up in
front of an hour that Ray Davis
was already doing a talk show.
After contemplating if he
could do 2 hours of talk on the
same topic each week, Ray
switched gears and decided to do
two talk shows, each 60 minutes
in length.
The new show titled
Inside The
Records Room would be
about Records Management.
December 4,
2007 was their first show and
they’ve been on the air every
since.
Inside The Records Room airs weekly on WNJC 1360 AM radio station in Sewell, from 8:00pm-9:00pm EST. In addition to being broadcast on the 1360AM airwaves, the show is also broadcast to the internet at:

The weekly show has segments discussing all topics related to Records Management:
Inside the
Records Room
is
interactive. Listeners are
encouraged to call in to the
show for live on-air
discussions, and also have a
voice in the content and
direction of the show. The
goal of the show is to
address the “pain-points”
that the listeners face in
their day-to-day operations
of their Records Management
programs. E-mail the host

Ray Davis is the host of Inside The Records Room. He has 17 years of records management experience acquired by working for a multi-state banking organization with locations from Connecticut to Florida. Ray oversees the operations of their records management program, which was an in-house program servicing 28 locations in 1991, and is now a fully out-sourced program servicing 460 locations in 2007. Ray also has a background in purchasing, which assists him in the records management process, as proper vendor evaluation is one of the keys to operating a successful records program. Ray is the Vice President of the Liberty Bell Chapter of ARMA based in Philadelphia, PA.
