Generally Accepted Recordkeeping Principles (G.A.R.P.)

Come join us as we explore the topic of G.A.R.P., a subject promoted by ARMA International.  Our speaker will be Preston Shimer, FAI who is a member of ARMA International, a member of our Pittsburgh Chapter, and also the administrator of the ARMA International Education Foundation.  Generally Accepted Recordkeeping Principles are those principles used as guidelines in the operation of any organization in order to facilitate and sustain day-to-day operations, support activities such as budgeting and planning, assist in answering auestions about past decisions and activities, and demonstrate and document compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.

You may choose one of three dinners offered on the menu that night.  Our waitress will take your order after you arrive.   Registration starts at 5:30 p.m.  Dinner and discussion starts at 6:00 p.m.  The cost will be $30.
