Company of Fellows

We congratulate Preston Shimer for being inducted into the Company of Fellows!  He is now Fellow #35.  The Company of Fellows represents ARMA International's most distinguished lifetime or career achievement.  This special award honors records and information management professionals who are members of ARMA International and have made outstanding contributions to the profession.  It also honors those who are recognized for noteworthy accomplishments in the Association at all three levels:  local chapter, regional, and international.  Enrollment is limited to a maximum of .5% of the total current ARMA International membership.  A member number is assigned in chronological sequence to members accepted into the Company.  Once a number is assigned to an individual, it remains the member's number in perpetuity.  Members of the Company of Fellows are authorized and encouraged to use the designation "FAI."  (Fellow of ARMA International) following their name.

Preston has been a member of our chapter for many years.  He has contributed a lot of his time and effort to making our chapter what it  is today, and has also given much of his time to the regional and international levels as well!  We congratulate him for all of his efforts and for being recognized in such a special way for all of his important contributions!
