Featured Vendor Sponsorship: For $50, the vendor has the opportunity to speak for 5 minutes at a chapter meeting on his/her company’s capabilities, distribute company literature and collect business cards. The sponsorship must be arranged and approved in advance through the chapter’s program chair and another member of the chapter executive board. The $50 charge is in addition to the cost of the vendor representatives’ meals. (3 vendor points)

Dessert Sponsorship: In exchange for subsidizing dessert for all attendees at a chapter meeting, the vendor has the opportunity to speak for 5 minutes on his/her company’s capabilities, distribute company literature and collect business cards. The sponsorship must be arranged and approved in advance through the chapter’s program chair and another member of the chapter executive board. (3 vendor points)

Meeting Sponsorship: For $100, the vendor has the opportunity to speak for 10 minutes at a chapter meeting on his/her company’s capabilities, distribute company literature and collect business cards. The sponsor’s name will be mentioned in meeting announcements (in print and on line) and a link to the vendor’s website will be posted on the chapter website. The sponsorship must be arranged and approved in advance through the chapter’s program chair and another member of the chapter executive board. The $100 charge is in addition to the cost of the vendor representatives’ meals. (5 vendor points)

On-Site Sponsorship: the vendor sponsors a monthly chapter meeting in the form of an open house/site visit to their facility and underwrites the cost of food for the attendees. The sponsor’s name will be mentioned in meeting announcements (in print and on line) and a link to the vendor’s website will be posted on the chapter website. The vendor may provide attendees with literature and promotional items during the meeting. The sponsorship must be arranged and approved in advance through the chapter’s program chair and another member of the chapter executive board. (10 vendor points)

Only one sponsor will be permitted per meeting, regardless of the type of sponsorship.

It should be noted that the Gaithersburg chapter will not provide vendor/sponsors with attendee lists due to our commitment to maintaining the privacy of attendees’ personal information. However, vendor/sponsors are welcome to solicit business cards from attendees for follow-up contact.

Raffle/Door Prize: The vendor provides a gift item to be raffled off during the chapter meeting. The sponsor’s name will be mentioned in meeting announcements and announced during the meeting itself. Please note: When providing a raffle/door prize, the vendor does not receive speaking time during the meeting unless also purchasing one of the levels of sponsorship noted above. The raffle/door prize must be arranged and approved in advance through the chapter’s program chair another member of the chapter executive board. A raffle may be conducted at any meeting, including those that are being sponsored by another vendor. (2 vendor points).
